The Ekklesia Neoplatonismos Theourgia is a Neoplatonic and theurgic gathering celebrating the divinely inspired Mysteries in the line of Pythagoras of Samos, Iamblichus of Chalcis, and Dionysius the Areopagite. Grounded in community and individual practice, the Ekklesia is an ecumenical, contemplative, and theurgic gathering. We strive to engage in the veneration of the divine and to achieve divine self-knowledge.
“Why is it upon the mixed life that the Cause bestows itself? Because as being all things it has an affinity with that which is all-embracing. For that which is simple is not capable of receiving the power of the Cause, which ineffably, transcending unity, embraces all things. For this reason the divine Iamblichus declares that it is impossible to partake as an individual of the universal orders, but only in communion with the divine choir of those who, with minds united, experience a common uplift.” (Damascius, In Phileb., Fr. 6.)
